Au niveau esthétique, c'est incontestablement une jolie plante, avec des fleurs délicates, qui se marie bien avec les autres espèces du jardin.
Au niveau du test anti-doryphore, ce n'est pas franchement évident de tirer des conclusions : tout d'abord, au vu des conditions climatiques de l'année, les patates du voisin étaient finies avant que mon lin ne soit en fleur (car c'est l'odeur des fleurs qui fait fuir les doryphores, pas la plante en elle-même). De même, il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'aubergines à déguster pour les pauvres insectes, à ce moment.
Mais il est vrai que je n'ai ramassé que trois quatres bestioles cette année sur ma dizaine de pieds contre au moins dix fois plus l'année dernière.
Alors, hasard ou coïncidence ?
